OptoMizer® Lighting Audit System - Online Product Tour
EXISTING & DESIGN FIXTURE CODES:

The existing and design fixture codes screen allows the database user to add, edit, or delete fixture code records from the fixture codes table. Once existing or design fixture code records have been entered, they are then available for selection for any and all projects within the OptoMizer system.

Existing and design fixture codes are short codes that briefly describe a complete fixture. Many utility companies have their own list of fixture codes that correspond with different fixture configurations. OptoMizer gives the user the ability to enter in these fixture codes and assign them to the existing and/or design fixture records for further fixture clarification on reports.

In addition, fixture codes have the ability to have an unlimited number of wattage values assigned to them. This gives the user the ability to define different wattages such as ANSI, utility company(s), etc. AND have the ability to choose which wattage to use when creating existing and design luminaire records. Two separate wattages may be stored with any one fixture definition, which in turn can be selected at report time as to which of the two wattages should be used for calculations on the report. The flexibility of this system is practically unlimited.
